Who is this NOT a good fit for?

While Zoom sessions are amazing for most people, they're not a good fit for everyone. In particular:

  • If you are suicidal or having thoughts of hurting yourself, please reach out to a local professional or crisis service immediately. It would not be responsible of me to try to look after anyone in physical danger from the other side of the world.
  • If you are in active addiction (drugs or alcohol) to the point where it significantly affects your daily functioning, you would need to address that first with appropriate specialist support before working together.
  • If you are looking for medication management, I'm not a doctor and I don't advise on medication or medical matters. If you need those services, a doctor in your area would be the right starting point.
  • If you're not willing to engage fully and honestly during our sessions, our results depend on us working as a team. If you're looking for someone to 'fix' you while you remain passive, this isn't the right fit.

Who is this a good fit for?

This is for you if:

  • You already take full responsibility for your life but you just need some help (as we all do from time to time)…
  • You're 100% committed to giving your best, knowing that we'll only get optimal results if we work as a team, with BOTH of us each giving 100%…
  • You're ok if we need a little trial-and-error to get things exactly the way you want. The human brain, scientifically speaking, is a 'complex non-linear system'. This means that even with perfect knowledge, no one could predict with 100% certainty what will work best ahead of time. The path to success will be paved with your honest feedback so we can make any adjustments, if needed, as we move towards your goals.
  • You're totally happy to put in the work if needed. While this is about us helping you create the life-defining changes you've always wanted, as quickly and easily as humanly possible, sometimes effort is required. The good news is that most clients find it far easier than they expected.

Are the changes always automatic?

All real change is automatic. Otherwise you haven't changed fully, you're still trying to.

Fortunately, most of the time, we can help you make these automatic changes during the session by 'wiring' in new patterns, in real-time, as we speak.

Sometimes though, effort will be required. If avoidance has become part of the pattern, you may need to go outside your comfort zone to create the automatic, effortless, lasting freedom you desire. People who insist on never being even a little bit uncomfortable end up stuck with their problem forever (a far worse fate). Thankfully, I also have all my Automatic Change skills to make the process as easy, comfortable and fast for you, as humanly possible.

Occasionally, I may also design specific real-world 'Precision Experiences' for you to engage in between sessions. These are carefully tailored to your situation and can be life-changing.

What if my main problem is panic attacks?

I've helped many people eliminate panic, as you can see from the testimonials on this page. If panic is your primary challenge, your path will look slightly different. Before your first session, I'll give you my Panic Free program to watch, which lays an important foundation and will give you more time for Automatic Change, one-on-one. Then typically, in session one, we'll customise the Panic Free tools so they become Precision Experiences that fit you and your unique situation perfectly. For panic, they can be especially important and powerful for lifelong freedom. Like everything else in Automatic Change, these do not involve any effortful fighting against the Automatic System. Instead, the opposite: they help us transform the Automatic System so you reach a place where you're automatically as panic-free as anyone else you know.

What if I've tried everything and nothing has worked?

Most of my clients say exactly this. It’s not a reflection of how stuck you are. It's a reflection of the approaches you've been given. As you can see from the testimonials on this page, it’s not at all uncommon for people who have been stuck for years or decades to experience shifts in their very first session.

Can I do just one session?

I don't offer single sessions as it's not a good format to guarantee results. After all, we might have a total miss in our first session. Having three sessions means we have the opportunity to use real-world feedback in between sessions to make any necessary adjustments.

What if I only need a single session?

If we totally resolve your challenge in a single session, that's the best possible outcome. You'll still have two remaining sessions to use for help with anything else you want. We don't even need to just focus on fixing problems either. We can help you take things that are already good in your life and make them great.

Are three sessions enough?

For most clients, yes. But everyone is unique, and some situations are more complex. If you need a little more help, I'll be there for you. Even if more sessions are needed, we're typically talking about a handful, not the 40 sessions that research shows everyday therapy requires before 75% of people achieve meaningful improvement.

Many clients also choose to work with me on additional areas of their life after their anxiety is resolved. Some high-performers work with me on an ongoing basis for continual growth. But first things first: let's free you from the anxiety that's currently holding you back.

What times are available?

We’ll work together via Zoom audio, so we can connect from anywhere. I'm based in Japan, which means the times that tend to work best are:

  • West Coast US: late afternoons and evenings
  • East Coast US: evenings
  • UK and mainland Europe: mornings
  • The Middle East and Africa: around midday
  • Australia, New Zealand, and Asia: almost any time

Once you sign up, you'll be directed to my calendar and we'll find a time that works for both of us. Most people have their first session within about two to three weeks of booking.

Why audio zoom?

We'll be talking by Zoom audio, unless video is specifically needed. This might seem unusual, but there's a good reason: most people find they can focus more deeply and access more of their internal experience when they're not watching a screen. I consistently get better results this way.

What if I'm nervous about the sessions?

That would be completely understandable, and you wouldn't be alone, especially since this is all about anxiety. It’s natural to feel some nervousness before we start. As Sara Nightingale shared:


‘I was really very nervous. I didn't know if this would be a situation that I would be comfortable with. The fact that you genuinely care about me somehow made me very comfortable and made me very relaxed.'

All you need to do is show up and engage fully. You don't need to prepare. You don't need to understand how it works. You don't need to believe it will work. You just need to be willing to find out.

Everyone is as unique as their fingerprint, and problem patterns can be simple or layered. Naturally, the speed and extent of results varies from person to person.
